Women entrepreneurs in the Diaspora: informed and connected
MEET Africa 2 looks forward to seeing you on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in Dakar, from 8am to 5pm, for a day of meetings and exchanges, specially dedicated to female entrepreneurship, organized in partnership with PariSénégal.
The proportion of women entrepreneurs on the African continent is 24%, putting Africa in first place worldwide. Among them are many women entrepreneurs from the diaspora.
Women entrepreneurs from the diaspora are at the crossroads of multiple issues in their quest for success in the dual Africa-Europe space: gender issues, the challenges of returning home, entrepreneurial issues, and the challenges of soft landing and cultural decoding to launch and run a business in their country of origin.
MEET Africa offers an event specially dedicated to women's entrepreneurship to answer their many questions
● What is Senegal's strategy for supporting the initiatives of women entrepreneurs in the diaspora?
● How can the needs and perspectives of women entrepreneurs be better integrated into the national and regional integration process?
● What mechanisms exist to finance women entrepreneurs in the diaspora? How can they benefit from these opportunities?
● How can we encourage and improve networking between local and diaspora women entrepreneurs, to strengthen their skills, expand their markets, and have reliable relays in the dual space?
