🇹🇳 The second information afterwork for The Dot's Dot Landing program took place on Thursday June 15, 2023 at the Maison de la Tunisie, Pavillon Habib Bourguiba in Paris, on the bangs of the Viva Technology trade show.
Attended by almost 100 people, this event, set up as part of the MEET Africa program's technical assistance to Tunisia, and in partnership with the Île de France Region, the Fondation Tunisie pour le Développement, ATUGE and FIPA, made it possible to :
- Provide the diaspora with an in-depth understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tunisia;
- Raise awareness of the Dot Landing program;
- Stimulate the diaspora's enthusiasm and interest in creating projects in their country of origin.
In the presence of :
📍Badreddine Ouali, President of the Fondation Tunisie pour le Développement, opened the meeting.
📍Wissem El Mekki, Director of Digital Economy, Ministry of Communication Technologies, highlighted the dynamism of the ICT sector in Tunisia and its opportunities.
📍Fares Seaidi, Senior Investment Officer at Smart Capital, presented the initiatives and mechanisms put in place by Smart Capital to support Tunisian entrepreneurs in the diaspora, as well as the investment opportunities available to Tunisians living abroad.
📍Hasna Kourda, co-founder and CEO of Save Your Wardrobe, shared the inspiring story of her start-up and her entrepreneurial journey. She spoke about how her adventure began and the challenges she faced. The pinnacle of her success was winning the prestigious LVMH Innovation Award Grand Prix, as well as a special prize dedicated to Data and Artificial Intelligence, awarded on the same day.
